Overview
Educational programs at Alaska Islands & Ocean Visitor Center:
- Incorporate experiential hands-on activities into learning
- Cover topics from Kachemak Bay to the farthest reaches of Alaska and beyond
- Include activities in the exhibit areas, lab, classrooms, and field sitesto fully extend the learning experience
- Are led by trained naturalists
- Promote respect for the unique natural treasures explored and experienced at Alaska Islands & Ocean Visitor Center
